1. Faith-Centered Approach: IDSS places a strong emphasis on its Christian faith as the foundation for its work. The organization is committed to living out Christian values in all aspects of its programs and activities, seeking to promote spiritual growth and a deeper connection with faith in the communities it serves. 2. Community Empowerment: IDSS is dedicated to empowering communities by recognizing and building upon their strengths. The organization believes in fostering a sense of ownership and participation among community members, ensuring that development initiatives are inclusive, sustainable, and reflective of the community’s unique needs and aspirations. 3. Social Justice and Equality: IDSS is driven by a commitment to social justice and equality. The organization advocates for the rights and dignity of all individuals, working to address systemic issues that contribute to inequality. IDSS endeavors to create an environment where everyone has equal access to opportunities and resources. 4. Compassion and Service: Compassion is a fundamental value of IDSS. The organization is motivated by a deep sense of care and concern for the well-being of others. Through acts of service and compassion, IDSS seeks to alleviate suffering, promote healing, and demonstrate love and kindness to those in need. 5. JUSTIFICATION OF IDSS

  • IDSS aims at, High level of engagement of youth in Skill Development Education and developmental activities, thereby reducing high rate of crime.
  • Children from marginalized groups supported with education scholarships and carrier counseling.
  • Reducing high levels of unemployment among young people in Africa.
  • Progress is achieved at a lower cost and reduced human resource flight through skilling.

OUR GOAL

Short term goal:

To reach out to over 10,000 young people by the end of 2026 and sponsor more than 250 students to acquire skills knowledge and education. Of these we aim at sponsoring 180 People with disabilities, Orphans and School drop outs. Open skill development facilities in different districts of Uganda and other African countries to provide both formal and informal vocational education to the young people.

Long term

: Create a positive impact in at least forty countries towards the development of Africa by 2040. This is achievable through partnerships with different NGOs, Governments, Institutions and others International bodies that support skilling of young people around the world.
