IDSS Tour and Travel
is a registered initiative under the International Development Students Society (IDSS), operating both as a fully authorized tour operator and as an educational extension of our skills development programs
This initiative serves a dual purpose
1. Commercial Tour Operations
IDSS Tour and Travel offers professionally organized local and regional tours, cultural excursions, and safaris across Uganda and East Africa. As a certified and licensed operator, we provide safe, customized travel experiences for clients, corporates, schools, and international visitors. Our operations meet national standards and are guided by ethical service delivery, client safety, and cultural sensitivity.
2. Tourism and Hospitality Training Platform
Beyond commercial operations, IDSS Tour and Travel acts as a hands-on training arm for students interested in tourism, hospitality management, and customer care. Students gain real-life exposure in areas such as:

- Travel logistics and reservations
- Cultural interpretation and eco-tourism
- Hotel and lodge coordination
- Client experience and service etiquette
